| Abstract/Description: | THE STUDY WAS CONDUCTED AT DEHRADUN UNDER RAINFED CONDITIONS TO EVALUATE THE EFFECT OF FOUR LEVEL OF N ( 0,15,30 AND 45 kg/ha) IN COMBINATION WITH THREE LEVELS OF P ( 0, 30 AND 60 kg/ha) IN A SPLIT PLOT DESIGN WITH THREE REPLICATIONS ON SESAME CROP ( VAR. T-13) . THE QUADRATIC RESPONSE SURFACE EQUATION WAS COMPUTED FOR THE AVERAGE YIELD OF TWO YEARS AND THE OPTIMUM DOSES OF N AND P WERE ESTIMATED. BESIDES, MARGINAL PRODUCTS , YIELD ISOQUANTS, MARGINAL RATE OF SUBSTITUTION AND LEAST COST COMBINATION WERE ALSO WORKED OUT TO ELUCIDATE CROP YIELD- FERTILIZER RELATIONSHIP. |
