| Abstract/Description: | THE BULLETIN DEALS WITH THE CONSERVATION DITCHING AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO CONTOUR AND GRADED BUNDING, WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN FOUND SUITABLE IN DEEP BLACK SOILS ( VERTISOLS) UNDER LOW RAINFALL CONDITIONS OD ANDHRA PRADESH , KARNATAKA, MAHARASHTRA AND TAMIL NADU.
