| Abstract/Description: | AN INVESTIGATION WAS UNDERTAKEN FOR THREE YEARS IN CLAY LOAM SOIL AT KOTA TO EVALUATE THE PRODUCTIVITY AND COMPETITIVE ABILITY OF RAINFED INTERCROPPED CASTOR WITH GREENGRAM, BLACKGRAM, SESAME AND SORGHUM. THE RESULTS INDICATED THAT SEED YIELD OF CASTOR WAS NOT AFFECTED WHEN INTERCROPPED WITH GREENGRAM AND BLACKGRAM, WHEREAS IT WAS SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED WITH SESAME (20%) AND SORGHUM (80%) RESPECTIVELY. |
