| Abstract/Description: | FIELD STUDIES WERE CONDUCTED DURING 3 YEAR PERIOD TO DETERMINE WHEAT ( TRITICUM AESTIVUM L) YIELD IN RESPONSE TO IRRIGATION SCHEDULING AND VARIABLE FERTILIZATION. MAXIMUM YIELD WAS OBTAINED WITH IRRIGATION AT 50% AVAILABLE SOIL WATER AND 120 kg/ha NITROGEN ADDITION ( 5092 kg/ha) . CONSUMPTIVE USE OF WATER WAS MAXIMUM WHEN IRRIGATION WAS APPLIED AT 75% AVAILABLE SOIL WATER. |
