| Abstract/Description: | WITH AN AIM TO ECONOMISE THE IRRIGATION WATER FOR COTTON CROP, A STUDY WAS INITIATED AT VASAD (GUJARAT) DURING 1974-75 . RESULTS INDICATED THAT THE YIELD OF THE COTTON WAS DRASTICALLY EDUCED WHEN ANY CUT OF IRRIGATION WATER WAS DONE. AS SUCH, FOR GETTING THE HIGHER YIELDS OF THE COTTON , WATER SHOULD BE APPLIED UPTO MARCH END. |
