| Abstract/Description: | EFFICACY OF MAIZE AND SOYABEAN WHEN GROWN IN STRIPS AS A SOIL CONSERVATION MEASURE WAS EVALUATED IN A SET OF 8 RUNOFF PLOTS ON 4% SLOPE OF 100MX 20m SIZE EACH. CONSIDERING THE RUNOFF AND ITS PEAK RATE OF RUNOFF, SOIL AND NUTRIENTS LOSS AND INCOME FROM YIELD OF THE CROPS, TREATMENT EFFECTS WERE FOUND IN THE ORDER OF PURE SOYABEAN , 2 ROWS OF MAIZE+ 8 ROWS OF SOYABEAN , 4 ROWS OD MAIZE+ 6 ROWS OF SOYABEAN AND PURE MAIZE. |
