| Abstract/Description: | OUT OF NINE SPECIES OF EUCALYPTUS INTRODUCED AT VASAD ( GUJARAT) IN JULY , 1965 , E CAMALDULENSIS ( BANGALORE) GAVE SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER HEIGHT AND DIAMETER GROWTH. E CAMALDULENSIS ( JODHPUR) GAVE THE HIGHEST SURVIVAL (60.9 %) AT THE END OF SECOND GROWTH SEASON, BUT THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN SURVIVAL PERCENTAGE BETWEEN E CAMALDULENSIS ( JODHPUR) , E HYBRID ( BANGALORE) , E ALBA ( DEHRADUN) AND E CAMALDULENSIS ( BANGALORE) WAS FOUND TO BE THE MOST SUITABLE SPECIES TO BE FOLLOWED BY E CAMALDULENSIS ( JODHPUR) , E HYBRID ( BANGALORE) , E.
