| Abstract/Description: | THE RESULTS OF THE VARIOUS TRIALS CONDUCTED AT CSWCRTI , DEHRADUN HAVE BEEN PRESENTED. IT HAS SHOWN THAT THE DEGRADED LANDS CAN BE PROFITABLY UTILIZED BY ADOPTING ALTERNATE LAND USE SUCH AS GRASSLAND, SILVI- PASTORAL USE, FORESTRY, HORTICULTURE. THE PRODUCTIVITY OF THESE LANDS CAN BE FURTHER ENHANCED BY ADOPTING VARIOUS MOISTURE CONSERVATION PRACTICES. |
