| Abstract/Description: | THE STUDY CONDUCTED AT VILLAGE NADA IN SHIWALIK FOOTHILLS REVEALED THAT THE RESOURCES LIKE LAND, SEEDS AND FERTILIZERS BEING UTILISED NEARLY TO THEIR OPTIMUM LEVEL ON SUPPLEMENTARY IRRIGATED FARMS, WHEREAS THIS IS NOT THE CASE ON RAINFED FARMS. IT WAS INDICATED THAT UNLESS THE FACILITY OF IRRIGATION WAS DEVELOPED , THE IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY LIKE HIGH YIELDING VARIETY SEEDS AND CHEMICAL FERTILISERS WAS NOT MUCH EFFECTIVE AND BENEFICIAL. |
