| Abstract/Description: | Of pre breed lines screened under artificial conditions, PS 75, PS 2040, PS-2040-1, PS 2040-2, PS 4034, WP, PS 2037, SCG 28, SCG 99, ID 9, ID 25, TX 16 R, EC 537925 found moderately resistant to Alternaria .Among different wild Helianthus species evaluated by whole plant essay method, six accessions of H. strumosus recorded scale 3 disease reaction. These promising lines can be used in breeding programme. |
