| Abstract/Description: | Hill State of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir Uttarakhand in north-western Himalayan region have so far remained tradional in agriculture despite the adequate research and infrastructure develoment. Nearly 82 percent of the farmers are either small or marginal nad are women with land holdings of legs than 2 hectares which are widely scattered in remote villages. |
