| Abstract/Description: | Isolated heavy rainfall, thundersquall & hailstorms are also very likely over Northeastern states during next 2 days; over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal during next 24 hours. • Rainfall activity over south peninsular India is likely to increase from 23rd April for subsequent 3-4 days. Thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds & heavy rainfall are also likely over these regions during this period. • Under the influence of a Western Disturbance Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience isolated to scattered rainfall with isolated hailstorm on 23rd April. • Incursion of moisture laden wind from the Bay of Bengal is very likely to continue over northeast & adjoining east India during next 4-5 days. Under its influence, Northeast India and West Bengal & Sikkim are very likely to experience fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/thundershowers during next 4-5 days. |
