| Abstract/Description: | The use of conventional method of survey data collection, i.e. Paper Assisted Personal Interviewing (PAPI) method has several inherent weaknesses such as non-sampling errors in collection, tabulation and processing of the data. This leads to problem in data quality and timeliness. This article describes an android based Mobile Assisted Personal Interview (MAPI) software for collection of survey data using smart phones.
