| Abstract/Description: | Microsatellite database and primer generation tool for pigeonpea (PIPEMicroDB) genome has been developed and is available at http://cabindb.iasri.res.in/pigeonpea/. This is first database of pigeonpea marker in world with 123387 STRs extracted in silico from pigeonpea genome. This tool enables researchers to select STRs at desired interval over selected chromosome. Methodology for estimation of area under agroforesry based on Remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) using high resolution satellite data was developed under the study National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)-Agroforestry Component. The project aims to enhance resilience of Indian agriculture to climate change and climate vulnerability through strategic research and technology demonstration. |
