| Abstract/Description: | This genus is near Neothunnus, differing in the total absence of the air bladder in the low dorsal and anal fins and in the small number of gill rakers. The species are much smaller in size than any other of the albacores, not exceedlng, so far as known, the weight of 25 pounds. |
