| Abstract/Description: | The contribution of the nannoplankton to the total productivity was studied for nine months in coastal waters of Cochin. On an average, - nannoplankton accounted for 66.40% of the observed productivity. The mean assimiIation ratios between the total algal and nannoplankton fraction were very low (1.29 and 0.94 respectively). |
