| Abstract/Description: | A study was undertaken in a diallel set involving 6 parents of long-fruited bottle gourd (Pusa Naveen (PN; standard), Pusa Summer Prolific Long (PSPL), Sel. 16, 9503, KLG and BTG 1) to improve their yields and traits. Fifteen F1 hybrids and 15 F2 populations along with 6 parents were grown during kharif 1999 in Uttar Pradesh, India. |
