| Abstract/Description: | Pearlspot farming is a possibility in fisheries sector in kerala as it is a euryhaline fish which can thrive in various salt levels from fresh water to marine fisheries. It can be grown in fresh water bodies , ponds, quarries and in brackinsh water ponds . Big pearlspot may weigh up to 750 g , but fishes weighing 150-250g has more market preference. |
