| Abstract/Description: | Yesterday, eight subdivisions viz., Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala received wide spread rainfall (>75% places). (2) The rainfall status of the country has improved from ‐42% to ‐38% due to the occurrence of wide spread rainfall in the subdivisions of Central and Peninsular India for the last two days. (3) The Northern limit of the southwest monsoon has covered major parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and few regions of Eastern Uttar Pradesh as on 23‐June‐2019. |
