| Abstract/Description: | Downy mildew caused by Bremia lactucae Regel on different members of Asteraceae has been reported from different parts of the world. In India, the pathogen is recorded for the first time on Sonchus asper and S. tenerrimus. This could be one of the option for biological control of Sonchus asper and S. tenerrimus. |
