dc.description.abstract | The wilt resistant entry, w-521-3 (0% WI) in PVT-I recorded, 66% higher seed yield (1558 kg/ha) than the check, A1 (935 kg/ha). Ten wilt resistant parental lines were evaluated in PVT-III along with check, A1. ISF-48 -15 (DSI-108) (WI: 0-19%), ISF-44 -15 (DSI-101) WI (0-21%) and ISF-39-15 (WI: 0-15%) recorded 86, 16 and 13 % higher seed yields (2524, 1573, 1533 kg/ha), respectively than A1 (1351 kg/ha) in PVT-III. ISF-39-15, ISF-44-15, ISF-48-15 recorded 52, 61 and 116% higher oil yield than A1. The parental lines, DSI-101, DSI-103, DSI-116 and DSI-118 have confirmed wilt resistance in the 2nd year in wilt sick plots at Tandur, Solapur and Phaltan (WI: 0-22.5%) while the susceptible check, Nira had 78-100% wilt incidence in wilt sick plots. | en_US |
