| Abstract/Description: | The present study on morphometry and sexual dimorphism is based on 32 fishes (18 males and 14 females) collected from Kamrup and Jorhat district of Assam. Sexual dimorphism was confirmed with Mann Whitney U test and three differences in characters viz. total length, depth of the body and length of pectoral fin were noted. The present data adds to the distributional information of this species in Assam, India. |
