| dc.description.abstract | Plankton collections obtained during the research cruises of R.V. Varuna along the south-west coast of lndia and the Laccadive Sea were examined for a detailed study of ostracods. Specimens of a hitherto undescribed species of Conchoeeia were obtained from six stations.
