dc.description.abstract | The three major NUE genotypes screened and experimented were N,K and NPK efficient. The objective is to substitute for chemical fertilizers. They require low doses of NPK than recommended because of their ability to mobilise the fixed form of these nutrients to soil solution for plant uptake. Among these, the first K efficient genotype by name 'Aniyoor' was released under the name ' Sree pavithra' in 2015 which requires half the recommended dose of K. the N use efficient genotypes were W-19 and CR 43-8. The NPK efficient included Sree pavithra, CI-905, CI-906, 7 III E3-5 which can save upto 75% of the recommended NPK | en_US |
