| Abstract/Description: | This National Training Course organised at CMFRI commenced on 7, Nov, 1983 and concluded on 9, Dec. 1983. There were altogether 25 participants. I am sure that this Training Course will have a great impact on the participants so as to generate new thinking in studying tropical fish stocks and result in improved as well as new models for the proper assessment of the fish stocks. In the following pages are given the proceedings of the training course. This course, though had a serious bearing throughout, was not without lighter moments some of which are also recorded for the benefit of the readers. |
