| Abstract/Description: | Diversification is a proven choice among the marginal landholders in improving the productivity and income from the holdings. The most commonly agreed choices were found to be backyard poultry, intercropping in coconut holdings, vermicomposting units for value addition of the organic wastes available in their homesteads, coconut product diversification as a group activity and dairying. |
