Description |
Amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) is a novel PCR based DNA fingerprinting technique. With the combinations of EACA primer paired with MCAG and MCAT, respectively. Productions of 1577 segregating AFLP amplification in 9 groundnut (Arachis hypogeae L.)varieties from ICRISAT(International Crops Research Institute for the SemiArid Tropics)were identified. AFLP results generated more than 71 polymoiphic bands, contained some major bands and some minor bands, ranging 3006000 base pairs, from one pair of EcoR I primer and Mse I primer and up to 10 polymorphic bands can be detected with a single primer for each varieties on the denatured gel
