Description |
The legume pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera, is a major constraint to chickpea production worldwide. The levels of resistance in the cultivated chickpea germplasm are moderate, and therefore, we evaluated 93 accessions of annual wild relatives of chickpea in the field, and 141 accessions under greenhouse conditions for resistance to H. armigera.
