Description ICSV 145', a witchweed (Striga asiatica L. Kuntze) resistant
sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] (Reg. no 128) (PI
522247) cultivar was developed by the International Crops
Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT),
Patancheru P.O. Andhra Pradesh 502 324, India. ICSV 145
(ICRISAT Sorghum Cultivar 145) has been specifically bred
for resistance to the white flowered strain of S. asiatica that grows in India.
