| Abstract | The extended Hubbard model with intersite coupling has been studied by mapping it onto an XXZ model without a magnetic field for the half-filled band case. The phases in the U-Q plane obtained here are in good agreement with the Monte Carlo simulation results. Extending the analogy to away from half filling, a T(c) vs. delta phase diagram for a prototype high T(c) system is suggested. |
