Description |
S = 2 quantum antiferromagnetic chains described by XXZ Heisenberg Hamiltonian with uniaxial anisotropy has been studied using DMRG technique. Chains of length tip to 92 have been considered keeping 50 most significant states in the density matrix. Variation of the ground-state energy and Haldane gap with anisotropy parameters is reported.
