Description The bandwidth (BW) of a rectangular microstrip antenna (RMSA) with a single feed is usually small. Various techniques can be used to increase the BW of RMSA. Broad BW can be achieved with dual feed RMSA, when it is fed with same magnitude and 180degrees phase difference at its two ports [1]. The main problem in dual feed antenna with equal and opposite phase is to design its feed network. In this paper, a feed network consisting of two branch line couplers and a ratrace coupler has been proposed. To improve the network loss due to the dissipation of nearly 3 dB power in the terminating load, an array of two dual feed antennas is also proposed.
