Description |
Linear controller design of DAE systems developed by [1]. is extended to nonlinear systems. This methodology is applied to an index-2 two phase reactor [2] to arrive at a 2 x 2 transfer function matrix. A PI controller derived using Ziegler-Nichols and BLT methods [3] is found to work well. Considering the advantages, this method should belong to the toolkit of control engineers.
