Description |
Experimental and theoretical results are presented to indicate the insufficiency of the existing theoretical model to predict the efficiency of four wave mixing in fibers near the zero dispersion wavelength. An appropriate design is suggested for efficient sideband generation, which would be useful in multi-wavelength source design.
