Description |
The role of the rho-meson coupling constant g(rho) in relativistic mean field theory is investigated. It is observed that a slight variation in the adopted value of g(rho) gives a better agreement with the experimental binding energy. None of the properties included in the fitting procedure for fixing the Lagrangian parameters are affected by this fine tuning of the parameter g(rho) except the asymmetry energy which is altered by less than 0.4%.
