Description A highly sensitive fluorescence cell has been developed for atomic isotope shift measurements on stable and exotic isotopes. It has been tested for offline experiments with the stable isotope Cs-133. The sensitivity and the resolution of the present laser induced fluorescence set-up have been measured. (c) 2006
