Description |
The compounds (CO)(6)Fe2Se2(mu-HC=C(C=CR)) (R=Me (1) or n-Bu (2)) and ((CO)(6)Fe2Se2)(2)(mu-HC-C(C=CR)} (R=Me (3) or n-Bu (4)) have been obtained by room-temperature reactions of Fe-2(CO)(6)(mu-Se-2) with HC=CC=CR. Compound 1 reacts with Os-3(CO)(10)(NCMe)(2) to give (CO)(6)Fe2Se2(mu-HC=CC-CCH3)Os-3(CO)(10) (5). The structure of compounds 1, 3 and 5 have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.
