Description Mo-0.6Ti-0.2Zr-0.1C alloy was prepared by mechanical alloying (MA) and subsequently consolidated by powder processing techniques. The pellets prepared from the fine size MA powder showed a high rate of densification during sintering in the temperature range of 1300-15001 degrees C. Close to theoretical density was attained by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) at 1250 degrees C and TEM studies revealed the uniform distribution of complexcarbide precipitates (
