Description |
This paper reports the results of an experimental programme to study the effects of process parameters on the surface roughness and out-of-roundness error on components produced by the through-feed centreless-grinding process. Experiments have been planned based on the statistical response surface methodology (RSM) technique. Mathematical models correlating the process parameters to the process responses have been obtained. In conclusion, optimal process conditions to minimise the surface roughness and the out-of-roundness error of components are reported.
