Description A linear symmetric stub-loaded dual-band rectangular microstrip antenna array (RMSA array) with nonuniform interelement spacing has been proposed for reduced side-lobe levels at both resonant frequencies. The interelement spacing has been optimized using a gradient search algorithm. It is observed that the side-lobe level reduces as a function of the number of elements. The predicted radiation patterns have been verified experimentally. (c) 2006 .
