Description Allylic oxidation of annulated bicyclo[2.2.2]octenones with PDC-(BuOOH)-Bu-t has been reported. While the oxidation of 10,11 gives the usual products, the compounds 1-4 afford the enones 5-8 involving migration of the double bond.
