Synthesis of 1-hydroxy[5.3.1.0(2,6)]undecadienones 15-18 from annulated bicyclo[2.2.2]octenones 10-14 via carbocationic rearrangement has been described and a new route to cis:syn:cis tricyclopentanoids 25, 26 from 15, 18 reported.
