Epoxy alpha,beta-unsaturated esters derived from diene-ester 1 underwent one-pot regioselective oxidative cyclisation to form substituted dioxabicyclo[n.2.1]alkanes in the presence of Na2PdCl4, Bu(t)O2H-aq. acetic acid in good yield.
