Description |
Microwave irradiation of toluene solution of mixed-chalcogen clusters [Fe-3(CO)(9)(mu(3)-E)(mu(3)-E')] (E, E' - S, Se or Te, and E not equal E') with ethynylferrocene and TMNO center dot 2H(2)O afforded 2,5-diferrocenyldiselenine (1), 2,5-diferrocenylselenophene (2), 2,6-diferrocenylthiine (4) and 2,5-diferrocenylthiophene (5), and the adducts Fe-2(CO)(6){(mu-E)(2)C(Fc) = CH} [E = Se(3), S(6)].1-6 have been characterized by IR, and H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR spectroscopy.
