Description |
A series of organochalcogen tridentate ligands containing N, Se/Te, N donor atoms has been synthesized. Three fluorophore ligands show that Hg2+ ions can be selectively detected in the presence of different interfering cations, that is, Zn2+, Cd2+, Cu2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Ca2+, Na+, K+ and Ag+.
