Description Today s internet network does not meet the requirements of the future integrated service networks that carry multimedia data traffic with a high quality of experience(QoE). So it is necessary to develop high quality mechanism to check the routing process and network traffic load and ensure QoE requirements. Intense research activities results show that Optimization is the need for today s and future world problems. The development of the new applications and systems, by their side, require the research of new protocols and technologies or the integration of existing technologies used in other fields. So in this thesis we gave an intelligent approach to optimal the routing of heavy traffic like multimedia contents. The thesis focuses on the different areas in computer networks, their limitations and generalized solution approach to optimize the areas to help the future demands. We also focused on Traffic Control based on application requirement concept related to how to minimize the congestion. Under the congestion, the performance of a network deteriorates, resources are wasted, delay and jitter increases and the predictability of network services are reduced. So we proposed that it is necessary to develop a new intelligent and adaptive algorithm for congestion control. Here solution has been given to how intelligent approach should be used for solving routing (data flow) problems.
