Description |
The alga, Chondria armata, collected from Goa Coast, India has been studied for its fatty acid composition. The analysis of fatty acid methyl esters by GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry) revealed the presnece of n-tetradecanoic, n-pentadecanoic, n-hexadecanoic, n-octadecanoic, hexadec-4-enoic, hexadec-5-enoic, an octades-9-enoic acids.
