Description |
The co-existence of two species of horseshoe crabs Tachypleus gigas and Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda along the Orissa and West Bengal Coast, India is reported. The study revealed that the two species were sympatric. The sympatric distribution of both the species is the first record and important clue to evolution of these two species.
