Description |
Dissolved labile and nonlabile forms of Cd, Pb and Cu in Zuari Estuary, Goa, India measured for a period of 14 months showed lowest concentrations during the SW monsoon (June-September) while maximum concentrations were observed during the premonsoon season (February-May). Results of experiments conducted to evaluate the importance of desorption/dissolution revealed that the metal input due to desorption and dissolution of the particulate phase may not be very significant in the estuary
