Description |
Spatial and seasonal variation of different physical processes governing the transport of salt and sediment of the Muvattupuzha River, in Kerala, India are discussed. Salt and suspended sediment due to tidal pumping was directed upstream, salt transport due to vertical shear was upstream irrespective of seasons. Suspended sediment concentratrion was higher during flood tide
